For years, Esme has been climbing, aerial acrobatics, cycling… all while teaching yoga. The only way she could maintain such physical activity was by getting regular massages. When she was introduced to myofascial release with the help of therapy balls, the need to see a masseur weekly disappeared. She flew to The Netherlands to take the training and now therapy balls play a big part in her life, her classes, masterclasses and retreats.
Roll-to-Release is a two-hour masterclass that helps guide you through a combination of poses, breathing techniques and specialised movements using yoga therapy balls. Its aim is to eradicate pain, improve posture and release specific areas of the body. This is done through releasing the Myofascia of the body.
This class also incorporates accessible anatomy as a way to help solidify your mind-body connection (proprioception). Prolonged holds in tight areas of the body even provides self-massage trigger point therapy, easing tension. Each of Esme’s sessions will leave you feeling stronger, happier and more relaxed.
