Vinyasa Yoga, sometimes referred to as ‘flow yoga’, dates back to the Vedic age – the earliest period of yoga. In Sanskrit, the word is defined as ‘one breath, tied to one movement’ and consequently the practice connects one asana (posture) to the next using the breathing technique, Ujjayi.
Using ever-changing sequences, these fun, invigorating classes are the perfect way to extend and deepen your yoga practice. Flowing and strong, but always mindful and breath-led, they take you through a rounded sequence before closing with deep relaxation.
Classes are open to all, with pose variation options given, but some yoga experience and/or a decent level of fitness is advised.
