Each pose is generously supported with props and held for long periods of time without any effort. it is by coming into a restful state that the magic happens. Restorative yoga facilitates the recalibration of our nervous systems. It shifts us from a dull but constant state of stress (our sympathetic or fight/flight/freeze response), towards a more healing & integrative state (our parasympathetic or rest & digest response). This is ideal for processing & releasing the stress of modern life. Restorative yoga is particularly beneficial for people with stress, chronic pain, fatigue, digestive issues, poor immune function and even those recovering from a severe injury or anxiety disorders. Yin Yoga Masterclass

BOOK NOW Yin Yoga, based on the Taoist concept of Yin and Yang, is a practice of self-love. Asanas (postures) are held for longer periods of time, forcing you to slow down and be still and present.Unlike other forms of yoga, Yin Yoga leaves you feeling as though you've just had a massage and, like meditation, puts you face-to-face with your thoughts, teaching you to deal with them one breath at a time. Esme’s Yin Yoga Masterclasses are suitable for all levels and abilities and are the perfect complement to other exercises that focus on muscular tissues. Classes last two hours and include a five-minute guided meditation session begin and fifteen minutes of Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation) to end.
